Ultraxenopia is the first book in the "Project W.A.R." trilogy, and it's a beautifully written beginning to the series! To begin, this was my first ever dystopian read… and M.A. Phipps is someone who I genuinely believe is a game changer in the author industry. There were so many things that I loved, that I couldn’t find any faults whatsoever. The story of Wynter Reeves is one that takes you through a painful, mysterious and enlightening journey that will have your heart strings pulled in so many different ways. Phipps has definitely redefined what “character” is. It’s one thing to write about emotions, to write about pain. But to make you truly feel the anguish, and undeniably understand how someone feels, and the intricate thought process to their actions, Phipps takes it to a whole other level. M.A. Phipps is a phenomenal artist, and the pages are her canvas. The pacing to every scene was perfect, and each chapter brings something new to the table. You’ll fall in love with every single character that you come across, as they all have their moments to shine and show you what makes them tick, even the ones that only have one line! “Ultraxenopia” is a disease of a book that will latch on and consume you until you’ve finished. Even then, you’ll be screaming for more once you’re done! This is my new favourite novel by far, and needs to be in your To-Be-Read list or in your hands now! Now that I've finished "Ultraxenopia", I can't wait for the sequel! And to make me even more eager, the title was just released on the 19th, and here it is!!! COMING AUGUST 19, 2016M. A. Phipps was born in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1987. In 2009, she moved to London to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Media Communications and Journalism. It was there that she met her husband and they now live in the Southwest where she works fulltime pursuing her true passion: fiction. She enjoys writing any genre, but the majority of her work contains some sort of fantastical element. In 2013, one of her short stories was shortlisted for publication and in the following year, she submitted her first-full length novel to an online writing competition where it was rated second overall out of over two-hundred manuscripts. In 2015, she decided to self-publish her dystopian novel, Ultraxenopia, which was acquired by a publisher five months later. At it's re-release, it became an international bestseller.
